"In this economic environment, I question the sanity of extremists who are buying up guns. What kind of choices are they making for their families?" Well, for my wife it was a .38 Special revolver. For my son, an AK. For my daughter a .22 semi-auto rifle with scope.
Mr. Hamm you need not worry about the choices I make for my family. I'm far more capable of that than you are.
By the way, I'm not an "extremist" .... yet.

The two sides have not been able to reach any middle ground and are not likely to do so. That is because there is no middle ground. There is the second amendment. Anything else is fascist spin.
How many violent criminals were without guns last year thanks to gun control laws......ZERO.
My local Wal Mart is out of 38 and 22 ammo, no idea of when more is coming. My local gun shop has both in limited supply and getting more costly.

According to the liberals, the idiots that they are, all this gun buying should result in an equal increase in gun crime. Gosh, what if it doesn’t??

The Bass Pro Shop near I-70 and Quebec usually has quite a gun and ammo selection. Most Walmarts have quit selling guns and their ammo is sold out in most popular calibers.

I have two AR kits on backorder since early January. Looks like I probably won’t get them until summer.
I ordered a bunch of stripped lowers last year thankfully.

I went to the Tanner Gun Show at the Merchandise Mart in Denver yesterday to get some .357 mag and 9mm ammo. I don't know what caliber you're looking for, but if it's .357 mag, good luck. It was all sold out the first hour and a half. 9mm was also almost gone. They seemed to have plenty of .45 caliber and some others, though.
If you go there today, be prepared for the long line to get in. Yesterday, it was all the way down the side of the block and half way around the other.
