Charlie ‘Four-Rent-Controlled-Apartments’ Rangel Condemns ‘Greed’
FinkelBlog ^ | Mark Finkelstein

We might have to retire the Chutzpah & Hypocrisy Award . . .

Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) went on Fox News Sunday this morning and condemned “greed.”

You know Charlie, the guy who:

* grabbed four rent-controlled apartments in NYC; * rides around at taxpayer expense in an $800/month Cadillac; and * writes our tax laws as Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee, but didn’t pay his own taxes on a rental property in the Dominican Republic, blaming “cultural and language barriers.”

But for the RAT affiliation and the protective coloration, Rangel would have been frog-marched off to jail by now!

Charlie is ten feet tall and bulletproof in Harlem. He only leaves office under arrest or feet first.

Remeber this? The New York Post reports the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee has been using a congressional parking garage for years as free storage for his old Mercedes-Benz.

These people play the race card better than anyone in Washington. Rangle and people like him need to go and go now. If it sets race relations back a bit, so be it. We can no longer act as though we are afraid of saying anything.

FOR YOUR REFERENCE: If the IRS hassles you, just write "Rangle Rule" on your return. Read on.

"Rangel Rule" Bill Introduced for Tax Cheats
Patriot Room ^ | February 3, 2009 | Bill Dupray
FR Posted on 02/03/2009 5:08:25 PM PST by Bill Dupray

Texas Republican Congressman and former judge, John Carter, has introduced legislation that gives ordinary Americans the same special privileges accorded to Democrat Charlie Rangel and Democrat Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner.

As long as you pay your back taxes (after you get nailed for not paying your taxes), all fees and penalties will be waived. (Excerpt) Read more at patriotroom.com ...

If Rangel were a Republican he’d have been electronically lynched by the mainstream media long ago.

Another example of the double-standard.

Liberal Democrats can get away with almost anything...and the media will ignore it.

Sickening.

LOL. I almost fell out of my chair.

I guess you can do stuff like that if you have no conscience whatever.

In his defense (sort of), the RINOs that are 100% secure would be (are) almost as bad if they could get the cover from the press that Rangel gets.

The only legislators that are at all sensitive to the will of the public are those that [constantly] feel the insecurity of their seat in congress. Which is damn few, unfortunately.

Please tell me again — you are confidant things are going to be put right. The hypocrits and despots in our congress will be avenged by patriots and our media will resume their role as guardians of our democracy.

All the IRS agents in the country are now familiar with and are used to people qouting the “Rangel” rule..and they are pissed about it. It has not made their job easier.

Not only does the man have no conscience but an MSM reporter who will sit across from these disgusting, lying, con-men and not ask them how they could possibly speak about greed in others when they have been such a prime example, is beyond me. Either, the MSM does not care a hoot about the survival of this country or somebody is taking money under the table. I cannot believe a reporter could not open that conversation.
