The other importance is that the person driving said vehicle actually OWNS the vehicle.

“I was here back when HC was republicans and NAACP was complaining about HC keeping crime out”

You must be really old.

“and the BaltSun complained we dont welcome the poor and drug addicts and single Moms because they couldnt afford to live here. Alas, Bush and Clinton and big tax libs have taken over.”

That’s newer than the other implication of “Republicans”.

“Robey was the downfall”

Actually, Kolumbia was the downfall.

Let me guess: Wilde Lake. But that’s always been a bad place.

That stop or go decision must also include the question of whether the cell phone yapper who is riding your rear bumper will actually stop if you do. There are cases when strictly obeying the law will put you in danger. The red light camera will never take such things into consideration the way a human cop might.

Happens all the time. We have plenty of “safety NAZIs” in our ranks - including their reasoning that “you cost me insurance money” when you’re “unsafe” (which really is bogus, anyway).

No, I’m in Long Reach. Things in Long Reach have improved in recent years, after everyone stopped pursuing section 8 people. The sane section 8 people are still here, and are good neighbors. I hardly hear gunshots at all, anymore.

Management and law enforcement have driven out the prostitutes and drug dealers, and have driven the users into a lower profile.

It’s been years since I’ve seen drunken youts loitering on the bike trails, and more people are out walking on pleasant afternoons than I used to see.

RE :“I was here back when HC was republicans and NAACP was complaining about HC keeping crime out”

I believe that was early 1990s~ 1994. It really didnt change big till the Bush housing boom. I think GWB may have won in 2000 in HC

I lived there a short while on Rainprint Row; moved last year. RR was the very end of the whole “village”, however. I was around when those random shots at the VC hit a baby boy in the apartments nearby.

“Choose Civility” - sounds nice, but usually those things are promulgated by liberal mumbo-jumbo nonsense. “Civility” to them means “taking it in the a$$ for PC groups”.
