And now the green peace lamos are whining about the Nano claiming that it is going to be the death of a turtle...

It wasn’t designed for you and me, it was made for someone who now has an oxcart or a water buffalo for transportation.

[. . .three police inspectors, two jeeps full of cops and a wireless patrol van, created a security cordon. It was a well-planned, better-executed operation that ensured public nuisance was at a minimum.]
All this for seven vehicles with a total retail value of $17,500. I try to explain to the whiners I meet the vast advantages we enjoy in comparison to the Third World but I usually make no impression.

India’s version of the VW Beetle. It’s going to enrich the lives of tens or hundreds of millions of people, giving them the freedom and power to commute and travel that we take for granted, and that is a GOOD thing, regardless of how many environmentalists it sends into a tizzy.

>>Tata YoungTata Young is a well-known Thai pop singer whose celebrity goes beyond Thailand frontiers. Born from an American father and Thai mother she's what is locally called a luk kreung: a mix. As a result she shares the best characteristics of the two sides: she is more than pretty, she is definitely hot.<<

Very nicely put together for what it is. Heck, they even used paint at that price.

I remember reading some terrifying reviews of that thing. Indian cars would probably benefit from the same kind of 10-year warranties that Korean automakers used to build confidence in their products.

World's cheapest car goes on sale today at $2,500 Wow, the dollar is really tanking. Yesterday they only cost $2050.

I'd like to see a Hollywood stretch version of this. It would probably look just like a Toyota. It looks to be like a four door with no place for a motor.
