[. . .three police inspectors, two jeeps full of cops and a wireless patrol van, created a security cordon. It was a well-planned, better-executed operation that ensured public nuisance was at a minimum.]
All this for seven vehicles with a total retail value of $17,500. I try to explain to the whiners I meet the vast advantages we enjoy in comparison to the Third World but I usually make no impression.

India’s version of the VW Beetle. It’s going to enrich the lives of tens or hundreds of millions of people, giving them the freedom and power to commute and travel that we take for granted, and that is a GOOD thing, regardless of how many environmentalists it sends into a tizzy.

>>Tata YoungTata Young is a well-known Thai pop singer whose celebrity goes beyond Thailand frontiers. Born from an American father and Thai mother she's what is locally called a luk kreung: a mix. As a result she shares the best characteristics of the two sides: she is more than pretty, she is definitely hot.<<

I'd like to see a Hollywood stretch version of this. It would probably look just like a Toyota. It looks to be like a four door with no place for a motor.

A few years ago I bought a moped that was made in India.
It started falling apart in less than one month and at the end of three months, I could no longer keep up with the repairs and parts replacement needed to keep it running.
It was mechanically the opposite of my Toyota Camry.

Just 2,000 units of the car will be ready today. According to dealers, the company expects to produce 1,000 to 1,500 Nanos in April. This will go up to 2,000 in May, 3,000 in June and 4,000 by July. From September, Tata Motors wants to manufacture 7,000 cars a month.
