Call it a condom conundrum.
At a time when the federal government is spending billions of stimulus dollars to stem the tide of U.S. layoffs, should that same government put even more Americans out of work by buying cheaper foreign products?
In this case, Chinese condoms.
Thats the dilemma for the folks at the U.S. Agency for International Development, which has distributed an estimated 10 billion U.S.-made AIDS-preventing condoms in poor countries around the world.
But not anymore.
In a move expected to cost 300 American jobs, the government is switching to cheaper off-shore condoms, including some made in China.

They are probably filled with asbestos or lead!
My concern is, can they make them big enough?
What about the lead content?
More Americans screwed out of a job.
lead coloration......certain places you dont want lead paint.
If you wear two do you get an egg roll?
I’ll eat chinese shrimp before I’ll wrap “little Creek” in Chinese latex.
Less money left for paying the mortgage on condominiums.
Well, I'm sure the slogan will be: " Chinese condoms - They put lead in your pencil "
Remember the rash people got from Chines made flip flops?
You use those Chinese condoms and an hour later you’re horny again.
I always liked that Reagan joke.
The russians needed condoms so Reagan ordered 5 million

Consider China’s QC record - will these condoms be more likely to break, thus decreasing their utility at reducing the spread of AIDS?
Birth control, from the world’s most populated country. Kind of like buying diet pills from Rosie O’Donnell.
Do you have to put them on sideways?
Are these the same one the Chinese use? I can’t afford any nore kids.
Chinese condoms help you get rucky, she ruv you rong time.
the real problem is not that they are buying chinese condoms (heck, obama is a commie anyway, what do you expect??)
the real issue is why have our representatives decided that my taxes should go to buy condoms for anyone, much less in other nations, regardless of where made.
this is an outrage that taxpayers are buying any of this for anyone period!
