NEW YORK – Robin Williams was recovering at the Cleveland Clinic after heart surgery that his doctors deemed successful, his publicists said Monday.
The 57-year-old actor had an operation to replace an aortic valve on March 13, publicists Mara Buxbaum and Chris Kanarick said. He was expected to make a complete recovery in the next eight weeks.
"His heart is strong and he will have normal heart function in the coming weeks with no limitations on what he'll be able to do," said Dr. A. Marc Gillinov, a cardiothoracic surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic. "A couple of hours after surgery, he was entertaining the medical team and making us all laugh."

I, for one, am willing to live with a few “commie” comedians who are willing to go to combat zones and entertain our troops.
Where do you get that info? I’ve never Williams make any specific political statements except for his usual jokes about political figures.
It kills lots of people who don't know about it till years later (heart damage).

I DO remember him making pretty vicious fun of Jimmy Carter during his stand-up act in the late ‘70s.
He doesn’t deny usage... and I would suspect if he was as driven as some, damage is likely, that and steroids can do a number on the ticker.

Williams has been a long time activist/supporter of liberals/socialists - hellry and her ilk - as well as the homosexual movement.

I wish Williams the very best of health. This surgery will no doubt give him lots of new comedy material.
Sorry, I won’t waste a prayer on any liberal commie actor just because he is famous and did USO shows to make himself feel good and to be seen doing it. There are too many who are in worse shape who have done much more for their fellow man and not made an ass out of themselves or ran down their own country to raise their stature among their Hollywood commie buddies.

Williams is very liberal, extremely so, and therefore an idiot (and he can afford to be both) but the one redeeming thing concerning him in my view is his continuing support for morale of our Troops.
Perhaps this brush with death might cause him to reflect on some of his positions concerning Health Care and more.

I think that he’s a lib, but frankly, who cares? He’s good at what he does, and if he chooses to use that talent to entertain the troops, more power to him. I wish him well, hope that he has a good recovery.
Williams makes donations and appearances for liberal politicians often. He has long been big time for John Kerry as an example.
Yeah, he is evil, but I can hack him a little.
