Could you use the conference room even if you don't stay in the hotel? I know several people, myself included, who live in or within driving distance to Orlando that they could go, but wouldn't need the room.

Yes, you can certainly come to the convention and not spend the night at the hotel. Be sure to let Roos_girl how many are coming and that you will not be reserving a room. She need to know both the number of those coming and those coming who are getting a room for either one night or two. :)

I’ve got a conference room included with our package. It will be set up in a classroom style for us and there will be plenty of room for people that want to go to the convention, but aren’t staying overnight at the hotel.

Hopefully the people that you know that are interested in coming are Free Republic members? If not, maybe you could get them to register (since it’s FREE) before they join us.
