Its already dated. Labor voted to join the Likud-led government and its fun watching the outrage from the Left at the party's supreme apostasy. But it was the only thing Barak could have done. The party would never have a high profile in the shadow of Kadima. In the government, it gets to remain in the public spotlight. And 5 Cabinet posts, a couple of deputy ministers and a Knesset committee chairmanship were just too much to turn down.
