From just September till now, Sarah Palin has accumulated a personal dept of over $500,000 in legal fees defending herself against fake/false/frivolous ethics charges. That’s Five Hundred Thousand Dollars.
A group of Alaska liberals, with the apparent cooperation of members of the Alaska Democratic Party have been filing ethics charge after ethics charge against Sarah Palin. The aim? Not to get her impeached and booted from office, because every single one of the charges are frivolous, baseless and even fairly deranged - one was even filed in the name of a soap opera character - but something far more personal.
These people want to bankrupt the Palins and leave them destitute. They want to empty their bank accounts so that they cannot afford the basics and necessities of life after Governor Palin leaves office.
With the exception of the partisan ethics complaint filed against Palin because her husband (a private citizen) made it clear (as was his right) that he didn’t think a policeman (now a hero to liberals) who used a taser on a ten year old child should continue to keep his gun and badge, all of these ethics charges were filed after John McCain tapped her to be his Vice-President.
David Bonoir, as the House Democratic Whip pioneered this tactic in the mid-1990s after the Gingrich Revolution swept Republicans to their first Majority in forty years. Immediately after Congress resumed, Bonoir began filing ethics complaints - frivolous, partisan complaints that even Democratic members of the ethics committee mostly laughed away - against Newt Gingrich on a weekly basis, week after week like clockwork and sending out press releases to friendly press outlets.

Now imagine several thousand of me nipping at your heels and inspecting every aspect of your life in an attempt to bring you down with lawsuits and ethics charges.

You whine about her bringing in high school buddies. We need citizen politicians. You seem to think because she isn’t a lawyer and she hasn’t surrounded herself with professional snake oil salesmen/women and PR firms that this makes her less of a politician.
We don’t see it that way.
Defend yourself for shilling for a blog (that tells us the "truth") which posts pics of Palin with dog excrement? Instead of manning up defending this cr*p you call her a "yokel", while you can't even spell Couric. Failure.

I am a bit surprised that there aren’t some Alaskan lawyers who are willing to represent her pro bono. It’s common for lawyers to devote a portion of their practice to helping those who cannot afford to pay, and given her expenses, Palin would certainly qualify. Perhaps she has not asked the local bar association to help her. She’s certainly well liked in Alaska, and I assume she would have no problem getting free legal aid.
By the way, I have a friend who lives in Fairbanks, and he saw governor Palin recently and says that she is even more impressive in person than on the telly.

The Couric interviews were the demise of the MSM. They were clearly cut and edited with destruction of Palin in mind. Instead they destroyed themself. The writing is on the wall for Couric given her blatant obviousness in tearing apart good people that don’t drink her Kool-aid.

My bad... but irrelevant since this is no excuse for his vile attacks on Palin, attacks on other Freepers and shilling for the blog "mudflats" that posts digusting, gutter-level insults on Governor Palin.

What about sending donation checks through the Wasilla Bible Church and they could forward them on to her? Since she’s paying the legal bills herself, I wouldn’t think it should be seen as a political issue. And I know the church was set afire some months back, but surely they’re still receiving mail. What do y’all think?
