If Maggie Rodriguez [file photo] had been aboard the Titanic and an officer had started screaming at the captain that the ship was headed for an iceberg and the Captain had to dramatically change course, Maggie would presumably have admonished him: what good does it to to point that out? Why dont you see if you can compromise, maybe get the captain to slow it down a knot or two?
Thats the same kind of advice the Early Show co-anchor gave Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL), when on todays Early Show he said, pointing out the PBOs own budget projections are for an accumulated deficits larger than all previous presidents in US history combined, the economy was on a path to destruction . . .

Correction -- ONE of the dumbest questions as Chuck Todd asking Obama if there aren't more sacrifices the American people can make during these trying times certainly ranks up there -- AND today is only Wednesday.
Theres no point hanging onto the past. America had a great run. Remember it fondly for what it was.
The parasites outnumber the hosts now, and theres no going back. Throw some cold water in your face and figure out how to grab every government dime you possibly can before the parasites gobble it all up. Every man for himself.
