Rescue plan 'ludicrous and insane'
Speaking exclusively to Channel 4 News, Jim Rogers says politicians could be leading us into another Great Depression.
One of the world's leading financiers has called the economic rescue plans being put forward by Gordon Brown and President Obama, ludicrous and insane.
He has been called a Wall Street legend for his investment nous. Now he sees a fundamental shift of power from the west to east. Our economics correspondent Faisal Islam reports.
Obozo is not insane as accused in the video, but he is treacherous and evil.
He is right that the “recovery program” is ludicrous and insane. But Obozo knows what he is doing. He fully intends to destroy capitalism and freedom in the West.
It fits better to say that Obozo doesn't care what happens to capitalism or freedom as long as he consolidates and retains power.
Gentlemen, we are witnessing the convergence of the Communist World, China and its protectorates, and Islamic money against the West.
I have been expecting the combination, but not economically. This is why China is now advocating a new global asset based currency.
This is a serious historic event, that is only beginning to be clearly seen.
Communists like Obozo cannot retain power unless they supress the population.
They will not willingly tolerate dissent.

He’s right about the West to the East but there are other factors in that happening that he does not mention.
I agree 100%, he intends to destroy our economy and is succeeding.

I think you are right on the money. (Pun sort of intended.) We have enemies who know they can’t match us militarily, and who know that the War Powers Act, for all its weaknesses, allows a President to act unilaterally to bring military power to bear.
But enemies who have grown rich with our own money, and who understand financial markets and trading technology, and who don’t care if they lose fortunes because their objective is to destroy us, can wage economic war instead.
They know reactions will be slow, filtered through the political agendas of Congress, haggled over, and generally handled with no sense of the real danger, and no proper sense of urgency.
Obama is a tool of this, perhaps unwitting but I think not, using chaos to force through sweeping destructive socialist “change” in the name of rescuing the economy.
The next several years will not be fun, and we may not survive them.
