Feel free to lead, Mr. Steele. Feel free to articulate the conservative message. Feel free to organize the conservative movement and energize the base. Feel free to provide timely and targeted responses to the liberal lies. Feel free to document a meaningful and constructive agenda.

Once you do the items above, I'll contribute again.

My advise to Steele is to quit attacking Republicans and start attacking the enemy. It is okay to withhold campaign funds from Senate and House RINOs who embarrass the Republican Party, but save the verbal attacks for Democrats. We are in a good position to win in 2010 and 2012, if only we don’t waste time trying to liberalize conservatism, and instead, spend our time demonstrating the failures of liberalism.

Actually, he seems to be doing the whining and complaining.

He’s the supposed leader. Whats his plan? What’s his philosophy? If he’s going to work behind the scenes, then stay out of the news. If he’s going to work the press, then start promoting our cause and our philosophy.

So far he’s doing neither.

Speaking of ‘tired’ Mr. Steele, I am beyond tired of Republican leaders not addressing voter fraud as in ACORN. Either we find some Republican senators or congress persons to start the ball rolling for legislation mandating voter ID in national elections or we can concede 2010 and 2012 to the tratiorist socialist democrat party which now controls this Republic. First things first Mr. Steele. Being tired is not an option for any Republican. Make my vote secure and then I will listen to what you have to say.

"I’m tired of seeing the same old, same old," RNC Chairman Michael Steele told

And Steele seems to think he is the answer -- since he has been making rumblings that he might run for the presidency.

Hey, Mikey, if you don’t like our complaints try addressing them! You want us to support you, while you cut our throats, it just won’t happen!

Well, let’s see what the Democrats did to get from their out-of-power low in 2002 to their dominating control today:

1) Demonized the president, subjecting him to constant ridicule.
2) Obstructed all measures put forth by the Republicans, including judgeships.
3) Acted treasonously with regard to our military.
4) Found a pretty boy with no record to make vacuous promises of “hope” and “change” which the compliant media refused to investigate or challenge.

I just don’t think the GOP could follow that example even if they wanted to.

I’ve heard him say the right things a number of times. Then he does an interview and ends up sounding like Jimmuh Cotter.

I don’t think his conservative values come from his core. They are just a part he plays.

Get rid of Steele, he is not what the GOP needs. The GOP needs a STRONG Conservative that is not afraid to open his mouth and scream Conservative Principals.

Am I the only that remembers 'Max Headroom'. Just wondering if that is what the News Media and our government is becoming.

You people do realize that you are getting to see Mr. Steele's comments through the liberal AP filter, right?

That said, Mr. Steel needs to get his message out better to the Republican rank-and-file, as well as to the reachable nontraditional voters that share Republican values. He also needs to get Congressional Republicans to show a unified front of core Republican values each and every time they are in front of the media or their constituents.

The best defense against the Democrats and their media cronies is to stay on a winning conservative message.

Sure Steele you need to leave NOW and we return to our roots and along the way get rid of every RINO. That would bring back the 8 to 10 million core Conservative voters we lost at the last election because of you Fraud Moron Republicans.

I’m tired of seeing the same old, same old,” RNC Chairman Michael Steele told about 750 Republicans at a party dinner in suburban Denver. “I’m tired of hearing the same old arguments. I’m tired of hearing the complaining.”

Get this guy a lollipop and escort him into the land of the Munchkins where he can quietly pass his remaining years.

Can anyone imagine Reagan getting up on a podium and espousing such nonsense?

The GOP brand is sullied by Steele, not the other way around.

Can’t lose something you’ve never had. The GOP began as the party that believed in expanding the power of the Fed, which was greatly expanded into our economic activity under Theodore Roosevelt. Anti-trust, anti-monopoly legislation promoted by TR took us away from the laisse fare capitalist system of our nation’s founding.

The GOP became the party of the pot on the burner with less heat, but it is a mistake to think the party is ready to turn the heat off & start throwing ice cubes in to the pot to reverse the trend of sending more and more power to the Fed.

To most in the GOP, responsible means better oversight over the local, when the local *should* be the most accountable to voters of all government. I can & have talked to those elected to local office, know some of them & their families. I’ve help work out solutions to local problems.

The Fed reps should be accountable to the local, instead of the other way around, but try telling that to any DC hotshot that tells himself that he was elected to office by more voters than any of the local guys.
