Politicization Charges at DOJ over Brazile Appearance

New leadership at the Justice Department is aiming to erase memories of the highly-charged political controversies from the previous administration.

But already some of the same “politicization” charges are being flung at the Justice Department, under Attorney General Eric Holder, as the department prepares to host veteran Democratic Party strategist Donna Brazile for a “Women’s History Month” event.

Brazile has built a long career as an election campaign strategist for candidates from Walter Mondale to Bill Clinton and Al Gore.

A flyer sent to Justice Department employees advising of the March 31 Brazile appearance, says “Supervisors are encouraged to grant official time to employees to attend this event.”

First you have to ask yourself - why are our taxpayer dollars being spent on such events? Then you have to wonder when the DOJ will have a "Mens History Month" event? Lastly, you have to wonder if Ms. Brazile will be praising leading women like Condi Rice, Margaret Thatcher, Jeanne Kirkpatrick....oh wait, I guess we don't have to wonder about that.
