What’s amusing is the assertion that the comments about McCain on this thread, and others, are somehow worse than it used to be when only those “old-time freepers” were around. Apparently, the poster has not read some of those old McCain threads from 2000. They make today’s threads look like Sunday school reading!

Who cares? If he wins, he’ll be much more conservative than he has been in a long, long time.

I care. Certain Senators have been destroying all chances of fending off the socialism infesting the White House and our country. McCain appears to be at the top of that list, as usual.

Why on EARTH would you believe that McCain will be more conservative during another term? What evidence can you provide?

The man is a lame duck and if he can't pass it now will continue on pushing for Cap-and-Trade, Amnesty, and a host of his other liberal pet projects. I offer the last decade of his actions as evidence of such.

For crying out loud, the man went on NBC's Meet The Press on Sunday and said that he stands "ready" to assist Obama in passing amnesty. He also publicly declared his support for carbon cap-and-trade, in addition to expressing confidence in "Turbo Tax" Tim Geithner.

What more evidence does Melinda need?

RE “,What more evidence does Melinda need?

You know Mel sounds alot like Megn, “you know?” They both hate hatin, “you know?” , they both say “Like haters are ruining the party, you know?” Maybe Mel is our new clothes shopping republican youth leader who was on the View. What does she think of Ann Coulter and Laura Ingrahm? More haters? Two Queen's of the liberal trolls?

For McCain to become a conservative I believe 2 things must be necessary.

A)Ghosts must be real.
B)The ghost of a conservative must possess John McCain.

C) The liberal currently possessing his body and mind must find a new home.

The first inkling I had that MCCain/Sarah would lose is when McCain went back to Washington and then signed a pork filled bill after campaigning on the promise to get rid of all pork before signing as President.

Second was this statement to supporters about his trust in Obama....bad mistakes.

IMO he may have had a much better chance of winning if he sided with the Rep. House and said no to the first “bailout” regardless what everyone did.
