We heard a lot about those who were unable to "make it in America" during the 2008 campaign. Despite the clear record of opportunity that America has delivered for more people across every race and from every nation in the history of this earth, we were reminded again and again from then candidate Obama that poor people existed.
We were told a lot of things about them as well.
We were told that they were inept in their efforts to help themselves. We were told they were too dumb to make clear choices. And we were told constantly that the only way they would be helped is to grow government, shrink economic opportunity, and make them the modern enslaved demographic, to a government who couldn't care less what happened to them.
Democrats, and the progressive left in particular, exploit the poor, they use the poor, they write speeches about them, and manipulate their "unrepresented voices" in debates. But one thing is increasingly clear from the Obama administration and the popular left in America, they don't have any interest in helping them.
It is easy to explain how this can be true from a macro-worldview position looking at the President's policies. The bailout, the stimulus, the omnibus, and the proposed budget all do nothing to assist a poor person in finding independence and they all aim to create an enslavement to entitlements that dehumanize the individual, create embarrassment for their family, and ultimately rob that person of one of the most cherished gifts God grants us--the satisfaction of personal achievement.

Funny thing is these are the same people who cannot afford to buy a newspaper.
They are also the same sheeple who are bleating Ohhhhhbahhhhhhhmaaaaaa.
We have noticed that while cronies of Obama & team did well with bail-out funds ... the unemployed here are losing Cobra health insurance as the largest employer goes into bankruptcy.
You’d think a little of that bailout money could have trickled down to this area. It had no strings attached, no oversight. What prevented a fraction of it from being used to help factory workers?
Guess not. We’re serfs (and a few kulaks) out here in fly-over country. Our great leader knew we didn’t *really* need any of that money. Not like his big donors.
The poor are mere props to be exploited by the so called progressives.
The intention is to keep them poor and suffering, the better to make false promises for their votes.
Because they donate so little to The Party?
