Many liberals are Rushophobes because, deep down, they fear they have some conservative sentiments.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I like it. Turn the tables on the 'tards.
Yes, it's called common sense.
I have a female friend who frequently talks like a conservative, yet consistently votes for Democrats. Every time she makes a statement that comes from a conservative perspective, I point it out and ask he why she continues to elect the very people who enact measures that infuriate her.
She is adamantly "pro-choice", however, and that single issue seems to outweigh the many conservative positions that she appears to hold in most other areas. So the Dems get her vote.
To come to the conclusion that all they learned from their Professors, Parents, Ministers and Rabbi's in the political arena was not based on Aristotelian Logic but may be bunk and that is to hard to handle...
My own experiences of politely handing them things we deem as truth, does not invoke anger but blanks stares. For instance, post the Colimbine Attack I am at a function with a table of liberals some of which were spouting gun control. When I asked them if they remember Pat Buchanan's 92' speech that this was a war on our culture, I said I am not sticking up fo Pat, but does anyone get his speech now? That what these two Evil Teenagers did, could have been done by any means other than a gun and what in the culture allowed this? Their was no retort, the blank stares and the silence was deafening.
