Deer have “razor sharp horns”? Since when?

- Since they began sharpening their “equipment” at the poles holding wildlife fences together.

At least here in Sweden this behavior is spreading rapidly.

Sears is still around. There was a time when Sears did not have as much competition but that was a long time ago. At Sears, one can still buy American-made tools. A lot of tools, even with an American brand name, are now made in China.

I, alas, do not. I’ve got more hills, valleys, twists, turns, moguls, mounds and divots than you can imagine. If my lawn hosted a golf tournament it would be the Tibetan Invitational.

Hosted by the Dalai Lama himself. Big hitter, the Lama.

There won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.

“A lot of tools, even with an American brand name, are now made in China.”

- It’s more or less the same situation over here in Scandinavia.

Once, an Ericsson phone costed $2000. Now it costs nothing and is made in China.

If we Westerners wish to continue enjoying an exceptionally high standard of living - the two Volvos/BMW/Lincolns in the garage kinda thing, we must do our best to make it easier for companies like Ericsson, Skype and Apple.

America will survive Obama, Europe will awake anew and sooner or later all of Western Civilization will realize our industries are under challenge.

Thanks for sharing this knowledge with me.

Over here in Europe, we often get to hear how cheap Wal-Mart is. However, even though Europe in general is poorer than America, Europe isn’t that expensive in relation to the Continental European wages.

OK, I’m Swedish and Scandinavian wages are like a gift of God. Where ever I travel on the continent I just enter the word “Lidl” on my GPS screen and five minutes later I’m in a store where money don’t exist.

Ich liebe Deutschland.

Happy to assist with American Culture ;-). I get all my clothes at The Salvation Army (why pay more than $4?), but Wal-mart is usually the best choice for the quantities of food and household consumables I buy for a family of 11.
