Irish landscapers? Bartenders, maybe. But, not landscapers.
The fact that they worked for a landscaping company simply screams they were Japanese peasants looking for a new start in America as gardeners.
Hundreds of illegal alien Japanese peasants were crammed into a container ship for months, then kept in a Japanese clown-house (with rice-paper walls and zen gardens).
Their families back home in Japan were forced to send thousands (millions?) of yen to secure their freedom.
Once free, they donned their green work uniforms and started mowing lawns and tending to rose gardens for various landscaping companies, like this one, sending money to support their poor families back home in Japan.
Right?

I was thinking that with all that green stuff there had to be an Irishman in there somewhere.
