Police held back would-be rescuers as three people died in a house fire, angry neighbours said last night.
They said they could see heavily-pregnant Michelle Colley at an upstairs window, screaming 'please save my kids'.
But police said they had to wait for firemen to arrive.
By then, however, Mrs Colley, 25, her husband Mark, 29, and their three-year-old son Louis were dead.
Their daughter Sophie, five, is fighting for her life in hospital.
Family friend David Davis, 38, said: 'It was the most harrowing thing I have ever seen.
'Michelle was at the bedroom window and we wanted to help but the police were pushing us back and not allowing us near.

Besides, the Fireman’s Union is in charge of doing the “rescuing” at fires, not the Police Union - or untrained nonunion peasants!

My cousin , a NYC cop , was busted several ranks for turning off the electricity at a auto accident where the pole and wires were on top of the car and arcing ...it’s quite simple to do , many poles have the old “frankenstein” disconnect levers/switches (just use something non-conducting to work it ,, like a broomstick) ... you see he should have waited for the union electrician from con-ed to arrive and take a chance that the car wouldn’t catch fire.. (I guess he’d have to wait for the union firemen in that instance)...
Yep, sounds like the UK.
The only thing that stopped the firemen from savingthe people was the fact that the people were dead by the time they got there.
This is hideous. I hope the outcry about this rings throughout Britain. Maybe it will wake them at last from the lockstep to societal suicide that they’re currently engaged in.
