We no longer live in a free market society. Apparently we haven't for years. The realization that our banks were told that they have to give loans to certain people has revealed that.

We have mocked France and now Russians, China and Canadians tell us not to slide much further into socialism/communism....

How ironic and sad that we have been so lied to on such a massive scale. Without a true free media, we were always fighting with blinders on.

A crap-flinging monkey hurling clods at your worst enemy is still helping you out.

Newsweek. I’m not buying it. I don’t believe for a second that you are trying to escape from the black hole which is the obama cult.

You know you still love him. You know you do. A single cover story calling him essentially ‘not liberal enough’ isn’t going to save your soul. REPENT!!!

Krugemen doesn't disagree with what Obama is doing, he just thinks it needs to be done on a much larger scale. He wants the government to take on bigger deficits and more control over the economy. I don't think he will have to wait too long before Captain Big Ears catches up to him.

Obama is wrong, but not for the reason's Krugman lays out. Krugman is, btw, the most overhyped, overrated "public intellectual" since Noam Chomsky.

Krugman’s big schtick is the “growing gap between rich and poor in America” and the Left loves him for giving them raw meat for class warfare with which to run against Republicans as standing for the “rich.”

But the fact of the matter is that by not having a border on the south side of the country, we have allowed tens of millions of the cheapest of the cheap labor to walk in, with an incentive to have children (anchor babies) here.

This massively distorts the “poor” end of the rich-poor spectrum, in that not only are there now tens of millions of foreigners inserted directly into the poor end of the spectrum, but the downward pull on the wages of American citizens caused by the labor competition has made tens of millions of Americans poorer by an amount that is in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

The “growing gap” problem, which itself results from liberals’ (with the help of country club Republicans) open borders policy, is a tremendously effective progaganda ploy.

Krugman, it goes without saying, is a dishonest ideologue.
