It's true that President Obama and his team have plenty of diplomas from elite schools....Which makes Patrick Gaspard so interesting. The Reliable Source has learned that the director of the Office of Political Affairs is the only top staffer who didn't graduate from college. Nonetheless, he landed one of the most important jobs in the White House....Born in Haiti, the community organizer attended Columbia University's School of General Studies, an undergrad program designed for older, nontraditional students; he studied from fall 1994 to spring 1997 but was not awarded a degree. By that time, he was already in the thick of New York City politics: He worked on Jesse Jackson's 1988 presidential bid and Mayor David Dinkins's campaign, then went on to lead the 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers, one of the largest unions in the country.....

Personally I believe that the more Government Officials that DO NOT have College degrees, the better off the Country would be...........

I got news for them. Karl Rove didn’t graduate from college either, and he made it pretty high in the White House.

Bill Gates didn’t graduate either. Unless you’re in the sciences and learning a specific trade how much does it matter?
Graduating college is not necessarily a sign of intelligence - in fact given the indoctrination going on there I have respect for people who got out and succeeded anyway.
I couldn’t agree more. Sometimes non-degree folks have a lot of the street smarts and common sense that a college “education” removes.
Haitian street smarts tend to involve “necklacing” your opponents.
I have no reason to assume this pres__ent has any college records.
One only has to look at Congress and the current administration to realize that.
Community Organizer ....those words send CHILLS down my spine. Why do only BLACK people need Community Organizers? Can’t they take care of their OWN life???
The story mentioned that. I don’t have a problem with his lack of a college degree, I have a big problem with yet another foreign-born Alinsky “organizer” directing policy in the White House.
Why do only minorities have “communities?” We should never forget that the root of community is the same as communism.
