One of these days I'm going to say "So what? Waddaya gonna do about it?"

I do that now. It stops them dead.

when Lawn Order was first on the air I refused to watch because of its underlying slant

Actually the first prosecutor Michael Moriarty quit because of the slant. Check his web page for some real conservative views.

Chris Noth was let go over money.

Considering the widespread and unwarranted use of this accusation, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a resurgence of real live undeniable racism in the near future.

I would not be surprised either. By over-use, the term is fast losing its power to censure real racists. When conservatives find themselves being called racist for just opposing Obama, it's hard to drum up support among them to condemn anybody for racism.

Angie Harmon, born in Dallas, is best known for her starring role as
Asst DA Abbie Carmichael on NBC's Emmy Award-winning Law & Order.

You go girl!

Angie's married to Jason Sehorn (former NFL player, not sure what team) and he's conservative. Smart men don't marry (or date) liberal women.

Nice looking couple.

> if even by accident. ‘Even a blind squirrel...’

Angie Harmon has been known as a conservative (at least by Hollywood standards) for quite some time -- the "blind squirrel" comment doesn't really apply to her....

She has nice mixed genes....

...Her mother is of Greek descent and her father is of Cherokee Native American ancestry...

It would be had to pin a specific race on her...:^)

If “Republican” in that pic is supposed to equate to “conservative,” I’m not sure Laura Bush belongs there. And Peggy Noonan has been drifting off to Fantasyland ever since Ronaldus Magnus passed on.....

but Belzer stayed ;)

I can’t stand Belzer’s politics, either in real life or on the show, but he plays his role well. I’ll give him that. Used to love Homicide: Life on the Street. They were with the Lawn Order folks who went after Starr, so it breached my affection.

But I am sure glad Harmon’s on the right side, so to speak.
Probably not a good career move in H’wood.

I’d point to Europe where any attempt at an opposing view to that of the Euro-Left orthodoxy is silenced, even on the right, so that all legitimate discussion, association and political energy is shunted to the publicly discredited and maligned “far Right” of Europe, which often IS racist, anti-Semitic and fascist.

If there is no acceptable alternative but certain truths can’t be denied, people of normally reasonable bent may flow to the unacceptable alternative out of frustration (or being misled by good PR from that group.)

Look for the babes, and that's where the social action is, that's where the success will be.

- P. J. O'Rourke

Harmon played a prosecutor on Law and Order.

According to O'Rourke's theory, leftist lawyers would look something like this:

Belzer, for all his loonie tune lefty leanings, is a brilliant guy, I imagine he consumed too many chemicals in the 60's. I watch some of the Law&Order stuff, and lately they have not been really outrageously political. Last week they did one on Madoff, showed a lot of cruelty to the rich crooks. The lefties would never let such tactics be used on pedophiles.

I'm not sure if it is ironic, but Jason Sehorn was fairly well known for being the only starting white cornerback when he entered the NFL. I remember him being asked many questions about it. He had many stereotypes toward him in his NFL career.
