American Right to Life: The Ann Coulter Hang Ups

Ann Coulter bushwacked on radio by conservative Christian abortion foes

By WENDY NORRIS 3/30/09 9:08 AM

Ultra-conservative Christian talk-radio hosts are taking a new approach to get their message out — ambushing right-wing pundit Ann Coulter for supporting 2008 GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Absolutist anti-abortion activists accuse Romney of being “willing to sacrifice children for your vote.”

The Denver-based American Right to Life Action (RTL) leads the charge against Coulter with a YouTube video that shows excerpts of Coulter’s on-air radio freak-outs and calls on the acid-tongued author to apologize and retract her support for Romney.

We simply cannot let a single issue - even one as important as abortion - divide us. We have got to unite and stay together. Heck, Dims can do that much - and they have competing special interest groups. We need to be a big tent or we don't have any chance at all.

McCain was a prolife candidate, but many conservatives couldn't get past his RINO ways. So we all have to suffer through a Marxist. Many of us do not want the lesser of two evils, but I hope those people are happy sitting on their high horse with the destruction of our country that is going on now.

If Romney was the nominee he would of stood a far greater chance of beating Obama than McLame did. And right now we wouldn’t have a marxist leader trying to take over our lives.

These people need to shut their pieholes.

After bashing GWB for not being conservative enough, I wonder how she feels now that the shoe is on the other foot.

There was a d*mn good reason for Reagans 11th commandment.

Anyone who thinks the Romneys are not truly pro-life has never gotten a Christmas card from them. If they add any more kids to the family — next year's card is going to have to be an aerial shot.

Coulter was a Duncan Hunter supporter, then supported people in descending order according to their ability to defeat Obama.

The one issue people will see their causes wither and die if they are successful in fragmenting the Republican party. They are defeating themselves.

Here we go again with the Romney haters. Stand by for the crap again. I picked Romney over McNut any day. Sure he was not perfect, so what the hell have we got in Washington now. All stone crazy childlike nitwits.

Ann Coulter sells books, she also stays in the limelight so she can sell books. She is doing a good job on both counts. All and all she is a plus for our side!

We have got to unite and stay together.

I don't think we'll have a problem with that the next time around.

This presidency is similar to the 1-month bread-and-water diet - once it's over you have a very clear and exact definition of what you don't like. Unfortunately, some people needed to learn the hard way.

Yep. Wendy Norris is a hack liberal. Coulter was supporting the best she thought of the cast of losers the media picked for the Republicans—after they had totally and purposely ignored Hunter.

More divide and conquer from another liberal posing as a conservative. I’ll be she’ll say she voted for Bush twice too!

And now there's McLame's kid, whom the RINOs and the left are pumping up (a periodic requirement for all airheads) as the face of the NEW GOP (as in Giving Obama Props).

God help anyone here with a functioning brain!

Photobucket

As I listened to her on Larry “Cadaver” King, I kept thinking about something about which Boortz frequently reminds his male audience: “At some point, you’ll have to try to have a conversation with her.” I also kept thinking that she HAS to be from California until I remembered that Arizona also has valleys.

Give her a break. At least she started out backing the best conservative in the field. He was my first choice also, followed by Thompson. I quickly got progressively less enthusiastiac as we went down the list from there. For what it's worth, Rudy was at the bottom of my list with McCain only one layer up.

My preferences were Hunter, followed by Thompson, followed by Romney.

I could never choke down having to vote for McCain, and I still can’t. But I voted for Palin.

This is clearly an “anti-Coulter” organization and not an “anti-abortion” organization.

Well, IMHO, Romney proved beyond dispute that he couldn’t win. He had every advantage, including a lot of attention from the press, that same press who swept Fred Thompson under the rug and constantly lied about how “lazy” he was.

He had National Review and Ann and several other conservative pundits supporting him because he was supposedly the most “electable.”

Yet he lost, and in doing so crowded out the only conservative candidates in the race, Thompson and Duncan.

I voted for McCain in the end, and urged everyone else to do so, because I said that Obama would irreparably destroy our country if he got in. But McCain was an obvious loser. And so was Romney. So IS Romney. God help us if they wheel him out a second time, the way they wheeled Loser mcCain out a second time.
