Why would anyone trust a Democrat on gun control?

When it comes to guns, liberals are all emotion and no logic.

Oddly enough, in the bizarro world we seem to live in today, if you go over to DU, a lot of them are against gun control as well. They mostly see it as a way to help them rise up against the "fascist Republicans" when the time comes, but they are against it.

The more cynical realpolitik types realize that the Democrats' passion for gun control is what cost them the Congress in 1994, and want the Democrats to avoid any appearance of passion for gun laws until they get universal health care, climate change legislation, and all the other commie fascist bills that will forever destroy this nation.
