Why? Because foreign ownership is a fragile thing. A U.S. administration and Congress willing to trigger massive inflation and collapse the dollar against other currencies could simply expropriate foreign owned businesses and default on Treasury obligations to non-U.S. citizens (or non-U.S. residents).

Why would China want to destroy us when they already own us?I think the one danger is that China decides to take Taiwan by force. Do you really think Obama is going to launch nukes over Taiwan? He needs Chinese money to pay for his glorious "investments."
