That is an awful outfit for the President's wife to wear on an overseas trip!

It looks like something someone would wear out shopping.

She has access to hundreds if not thousands of designers who could make her look nice but no she has to order from J. Crew (the skirt came from them)! And where did that ugly sparkly sweater come from the Quacker Factory on QVC?!

Yes, undies are showing through. Major no-no. This outfit is WRONG, just wrong, It doesn't match, it is too thrown together looking, and it is not what a First Lady should be wearing on a state visit.

She looked ok in the black dress....could’ve been so much worse. You never know with Michelle.

I am not sure if black was appropriate to meet the Queen, though. I remember when Lady Di wore a black gown when she was dating Charles and he made a comment that black is reserved for funerals, serious affairs, etc. Not sure if this would relate to meeting the Queen for tea. I would not have worn black. Powder blue or almost any color would have been a better choice for an afternoon meeting.
