I'm sorry to have missed that. I was doing chores, gearing up for the 3-hour ending of ER, my favorite tv show, from 8 to 11. I watched it as often as possible. Even though ER was set in Chicago for its 15-year run, thankfully the producers refrained from pumping the Obamanomenon. They tended to treat storylines about soldiers, the Iraq war, and war protesters even-handedly. I sure will miss it.
But fashion? Never. The women on ER wore utilitarian clothes, even ugly clothes; but they had brains. Get a clue, Michelle.
Aww, sorry you missed it. The rep said he'd be back on QVC "July 4th weekend"... I'll try to remember and remind you, if you're interested.
He gives an interesting presentation, as he has photos of Jackie wearing each original (obviously) piece of jewelry, where she wore it (often overseas), who gave it to her, etc.
There are very poignant stories behind her collection of crosses (QVC sells the reproductions). One story: JFK gave her an emerald-encrusted cross after her first child was stillborn... When she was pregnant with Caroline, Jackie never took off the cross, and refused to take it off when she gave birth via Caesarian section.
The rep then describes the gems, intricate work and original cost of each piece, then QVC offers the reproductions for sale.

Was the finale 2 or 3 hours? I read a little about it this morning.. thought they said it was 2 hours.
ER was my favorite show for years until they killed off Anthony Edwards, and started replacing the original cast. I wish I had seen the finale, though. Maybe I can catch it somewhere, or wait for the rerun.
Glad to hear they didn't politicize the show... kind of surprising for anything connected to NBC.
