These killings occurred less than a mile from where I lived at that time. The teens were leaving a graduation party when their car was stopped. They were killed at point blank range with an assault rifle whose clip was emptied into them and the car. One of those killed had been paralyzed from a previous auto accident and was in a wheelchair. The physical evidence had largely been destroyed so it came down to the witness testimony and contradictions between their stories.

The lead prosecutor for this case at the DA’s office is a good friend of mine. I never talk to him about his current cases (he wouldn’t talk about it anyway) so I don’t have any inside info but I’m betting he’s pretty stressed out about this. I hope everyone here can throw a little prayer his way too along with one for the family’s of the victims.
