True,
He also spent most of his time out of state campaigning for president all the while the state house was cleaning out the cookie jar.
Mitt also gave us “Romney Care”. Mitt didn't win one state congressional district for the republicans. He didn't even spend a dime.
He is a one term governor. This is his only elected office.
To be honest the previous republican administrations didn't accomplish a whole lot either. Bill Weld did clean house in his first two years and then he hired all of his friends into government and started hanging around Billy Bulger.

Then explain why it doesn’t look like Detroit.

Havent listened to Howie Carr in a couple of weeks. Gotta do that today. He must be having a grand time with this.Today's Howie Carr show is a prime example of why I rarely listen to his shows anymore. There's SO MUCH good stuff out there to cover between Deval Patrick, Obama, etc., and what is Howie discussing today? Drag racing, driving drunk and breathalyzers. Geesh... what a waste.

Or maybe there are a lot of Detroits out there and as bad taxes are here at least it still a nice place to live.
Were on the edge though. Anymore increase in taxes and people will flee.
Example: California

Good grief. The day got busy (well, not busy enough that I can’t look at FR) so I’m not listening. Sounds like I’m not missing anything.

Edwin Carr, former chief of staff at the economic development department, as the $110,000-a-year executive director at the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment. Hey, doesn't his cousin have some radio show or somethin'? < |:)~

Good grief. The day got busy (well, not busy enough that I cant look at FR) so Im not listening. Sounds like Im not missing anything. Yeah, it's too bad. I like Howie personally, and he has lots of talent, but he doesn't use it a lot of the time. I just checked back into Howie's show (4:20pm)... he's yakking about some police infraction. What about Deval Patrick, or Obama's overseas trip, Howie?
Meanwhile, Sean Hannity is interviewing Fred Thompson...

Thought I'd comment further about Howie Carr's show today. (Please note, I'm not a Howie-basher... I do like him, but he ticks me off sometimes)...
So the first hour was about drag racing and breathalyzers. Then there was a discussion about some police infraction.
Around 4:30pm I had some hope... he read a Boston Herald headline that said "Deval's Hit the Hackpot" (LOL). Unfortunately, another headline in the Herald caught his eye... something about some guy shoplifting shrimp. So for the next half hour, Howie and his callers talked about shrimp and shoplifting.
C'mon, Howie (I know you lurk at FR)... I know you can do better than this! Some of your past shows have been brilliant. Mailing it in today? ;-)
Turning radio off... going to watch Glenn Beck on FNC...

Massachusetts has the highest percentage of single females in the country. You're joking, right?

They've been coming North for decades, turning NH into Massachusetts 2.0 - forget about securing the Mexican border, we need to secure the NH border!

that’s what happens when Deval Patricks teleprompter moved on to the Obama campaign. Without the teleprompter, Patrick had no idea what to do next......And it turned out to be corruption.

No it is a fact. Boston has the highest percentage of college students in the country most of which are female.
Single females vote democrat in high numbers which is a fact.

Then Deval will accept a position in Obama’s government somewhere, because he’ll have no chance of getting elected here again. Through patronage processes like this one, eventually the Democratic Party will become The Party of People Who Don't Look Like You Don't Care About You and Plain Old Don't Like You Period and Frankly Wish You'd Go Away.
They'll have a problem keeping a majority, so I'm sure Obama is planning a minoritarian political machine that can keep power in spite of the majority. Which is how we finally come to Red/Blue civil war (and the Right ain't gonna be "Red").

Mitt could of vetoed, pocket vetoed each and every bill. You know, make a name for himself. Stand for something. Actually pic a judge or something. Maybe spotlight something. Anything. You know, get famous like the Alamo, Little Big Horn. Instead we got....
