Her Royal Majesty may have been expressing displeasure at Prime Minister Berlusconi’s churlish breach of protocol in referring to the president as “Mr. Obama” rather than “Mr. President.” That Berlusconi said this in the Queen's presence and in Buckingham Palace makes it all the more egregious.
