Pakistani Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud has claimed responsibility for attack on a New York immigration services centre. He said, a Pakistani and another man carried it out. On Friday, a gunman has killed at least thirteen people at an American immigration service centre at Binghamton in New York State. A number of other people were injured, some of them seriously, and hostages were seized in the incident which lasted several hours. Local police say the gunman has been found dead and all the hostages have been released. The New York governor said it was a tragic day for the state. North-west of New York City police said that nearly 40 people escaped from the building but four were critically injured in the shooting. President Barack Obama, who is in Europe for a NATO summit, said he was shocked and saddened by the senseless violence.New York's two US senators, Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, also reacted to the massacre and described the incident as 'a terrible tragedy’.

I just ran onto this and thought it was funny. The Taliban must be pretty bad off if they are beating young girls and claiming responsibility for attacks by ex-disgruntled IBM workers.

I’ll go with that. If they want to claim responsibility let them take it.

He seems "real" ------------- Baitullah Mehsud From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Baitullah Mahsud (Pashto/Urdu: بیت اللہ محسود born ca. 1974) is a leading tribal militia leader in Waziristan, Pakistan. He is primarily tribally oriented but also sympathetic to Al Qaeda and is the leader of the Pakistani Taliban umbrella group, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, formed in December 2007.[1][2][3] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baitullah_Mehsud

Yeah probably. I just thought it was interesting. They must be out there claiming responsibility for all kind of things.
Maybe they did in Jimmy Hoffa too. Could close a lot of cold cases with guys like these.

Ever since George Bush it as gotten so that a terrorist can't even hardly steal an atrocity anymore.

But, cheer up, Barak is in the saddle now.

They do believe there was a second person involved. Last night on the news they said that the car that was used to block the back door of the center was registered to someone other than the shooter and they were looking for that person and believed two people may have been involved. Now this morning they’re saying that they think they name of they man they have is an alias, and he didn’t work for IBM, as was previously reported.

I’m no tin foil hat person, but he did attack people taking a citizenship test. We definitely don’t have all the answers yet.

Was this nincompoop ordered to do this by Osama? And if so why didn’t Osama claim it himself, if he is still alive and able to do so.

Personally I think Osama got his from a daisy cutter years ago.

I disagree. This guy was probably one of those mild Taliban dudes that Obama is hoping to find.

IMHO that is the only possible approach to terrorism. I reached that conclusion during the Tylenol tampering terrorist incident decades ago. People were claiming responsibility and demanding to be paid off to stop. Same difference.

The Taliban killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand too.

And at press time they have not yet claimed credit for the death of General Francisco Franco - but a communique is expected shortly.

Trial run.

The ex-disgruntled IBM worker story turned out to be false, the name leaked was an alias, and there were 2 others plasticuffed and taken from the seen.

Like clinton, no act of foreign terrorism will be permitted on obama's watch, it will be spun inward.

Pay no mind to the guy behind the curtain, nothin' to see here folks, move along.

Now if this were to happen in 4 or 5 cities simultaneously in a few days/weeks, with hostages taken, it will be harder to spin, and could reveal this to be a trial run that had limited success.

Hmmm. And here I thought the news concentration about this was just a distraction from the bow incident and the G20 agreement on total financial takeover (See the ‘Bow’ thread and the Dick Morris video.)

Hear, Hear. Won’t happen with Ding Dong in the white house though. Maybe one of the MSM reporters will ask him what he is going to do about this?.....Nah not gonna happen.
