Police Chief Joseph Zikuski said she stayed on the phone for 90 minutes, "feeding us information constantly," despite a serious wound in the abdomen.

90 minutes?

Why in the hell didn't someone come in and medivac her? She needed a brave cop such as the one who showed up the Nursing Home shooting. SWAT teams are useless.

Back when I watched television I heard Elanor Cliff say, “The police will protect you”. I guess these people believed them.

Why in the hell didn't someone come in and medivac her?

It was my impression police nationwide determined lessons learned at Columbine would be implemented in future similar situations. Apparently the Binghampton police responders didn't get the memo. At Columbine one male teacher bled out as a result of the tentative response by police.
