Jeremiah said that “the human heart is wicked above all things, for who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). Unfortunately, we all have it in us to do things like this. Blind rage removes logic, and the desire to get revenge only hightens that rage. What a damned sad story... more so that he couldn’t see PAST his current situation.
I cant quote the chapter/verse...but I do recall that being blinded to our own folly is part of the plan...
