I watched an F-14 coming into Miramar from the east to do a Mach 1+ flyby at the Miramar Air Show. The boom was incredible. Lots of little kids were knocked on their butts. Lots of windows were shattered in the business buildings around University Town Center. Suffice to say, the F14 was left out of the show the following year. Bummer. It's an impressive sight to see the shower of mist coming off the aircraft.
