Ya know, I was kinda felling sorry for truckers for a while.

Say Pete, did you hear about the standoff at Norton yesterday that closed I-80 for a couple of hours. It was a family squabble that turned into a hostage situation and no I don’t remember where I read it...

all ya had ta do was call me I was right at the scene where the tire spikes turned into an 8 hour standoff.

now ask me how I know it was an 8 hour standoff...

go ahead ask

really ask me how I could possibly know if was 8 frickin hours and that it was snowin

I mean how could I possibly have a clue how long a moron who had blown his bond in Folsom and raced up Donnor with Sac county in hot pursuit and CHP and their chopper til they tire spiked him and the Kingvale exit where NOBODY could get by the scene til someone got a negotiator on the scene, even though someone HAS a negotiator in his/her sleeper and all they needed was to get within o say a hundred yards or so and could have gotten the freeway going in about a second and a half

how could I know?

what was the question again?

Hell Tork, I watched the stupid ordeal on KCRA, and I would’ve shot the sumobitch on the spot just for interrupting traffic. Good thing I was busy, eh?

And just how do you think I knew about it? Yep, FReepers on the ground, that’s how. Boom chucka lucka lucka boom!

No mercy.
