It is pretty funny, off topic, but aren’t cottonmouths and water moccasins the same thing (your tagline), Agkistrodon piscivorous?? A long time ago I kept one as a pet, nasty little bugger. Ill tempered to say the least. I also had two copperheads, Agkistrodon contortrix, made the mistake of keeping them in the same cage, one of them killed the other. They were pretty docile, especially compared to the cottonmouth.
