It’s not so baffling. They don’t want to have to fight for a Senate seat in Kansas when the money can be spent elsewhere.
What would opposing Sebelius accomplish? Obama would just move on to the next pro-abortion radical. Obama will have a pro-abortion HHS so it might as well be Sebelius. Atleast then, she won’t be in the Senate come 2011.
I figure they know they can’t stop her and they would rather have her gone and Brownback a clear shot at her governors job.
