I have found that the people attending patriotic events are definitely above average intelligence. It’s too bad that their issues are not addressed or are glossed over.

The original tea parties were often violent attmpts to enforce a boycott of imports taxed by the British Government. They got the attention of the Brits because they hurt the Government in the pocketbook.
We can send all the tea in China to Congress, the Whitehouse, the IRS, whatever, and they won’t care until it becomes a symbol of something more serious: the withholding of revenues from the government to protest their wasting and misuse of taxpayers money.
