I voted Democrat because I believe the hysteria about global warming.... just as I believed the hysteria and surgeon general's warning that * smoking is hazardous to your health * * it causes cancer * Although I know Democrat rules state we're never to question a given.... Why has the surgeon general downgraded his warning on cigarettes to * quitting now greatly reduces the risk to your health * Did I miss something?
Apparently you missed the fedgov using the exorbitant tax incresase on tobacco to fund SCHIP.
You missed the fact that the warning is different on different packs of cigarettes.
I’ve always thought that “quitting now reduces the hazard to your health” was an odd “warning.”
