Some people are evil.
Some people are vindictive and will sacrifice even innocent children out of a desire for revenge.
Some people are filled with hate and blame everyone else for their troubles -thereby lashing out at everyone else instead of taking a long hard look into the mirror.
Such people should not be allowed anywhere near children.

Some of the evil, vindictive people you mention are men and some are women. The law (courts) are biased against the men either way...
