Chicago Tea Party Location Moved
http://taxdayteaparty.com/teaparty/illinois ^ | April 08, 2009 | Wpin

The Chicago Tea Party will now be held at Kluczynski Federal Building Plaza, 230 S. Dearborn in Chicago. This is a couple blocks away from the original Daley Center site.

The event will be held April 15th at noon till two. I asked why the location was changed and it was vaguely described as some permit related issue. Shame after ads went out across northern Illinois in over 100 newspapers with the original location...

Oh, the representative for the organizers said that they will have signs posted at the Daley Center

My city is having a Tea Party protest and I wanted to add
it to the Google map, but couldn't find a way to do so.
Here is the link, if you know how to add it, it would be appreciated.
If not...it's ok.

Odessa Tea Party-April 15th

Thank you for reading anyway! :D

There are advertisements in over 100 northern illinois newspapers with the Daley Center address running this week, and you think it is no problem to move four blocks with those directions? You guys better plan something or you will look like absolute fools.

leftists are going to try and disrupt the Tea Parties by bringing racist signs and trying to cause confrontations while pretending to be right-wingers.

be careful

I just checked and was going to link it, and ours is already listed there. Thanks for the heads-up, though!

I’m not sure if the permitting process can infringe my right to peacefully petition for a redress of grievances.

In any event, let a few thousand show up at Daley Plaza and what’s the outcome. Video of the cops trying to dispell the gathering throng

Standard lefty response as in “this is nothing new” and or “there is nothing to see here. Move along.”.

How can I locate a Tea Party in my area? I’m in South New Jersey.

I received another email from the organizers who said we will meet at Daley Center and march over to the other location. Hope they got both locations figured out as the one website taxdayteaparty.com says the other location to meet at while the chicagoteaparty.com site says Daley Center. I think I will go to the Daley Center also.

I’m interested in this too. I knew BTTT means bump to the top, but who actually sees it and then actually bumps it to the top? It doesn’t happen automatically, does it?

Look on the Google Map link on that website at the top of the thread.

Or you might be able to Google tea parties and find it. Mine was announced in my newspaper, and I wanted to get it linked to the national list.

It doesn’t bump to the top of this thread, but to the top of the page that lists all the forums being visited. Does that help at all?

Actually the link you need to find the Google Map is at #11 on the thread here.

whenever anyone posts a comment the article gets put back on top of the list

So a BTTT is a waste of bandwidth way to make sure an article thread stays alive

When conservatives are serious about change they’ll stop asking the governemnts permission to protest.

Thanks LUV. I was able to google it. Looks like there will be at least two in NJ—Flemington and Trenton. I think I’ll go to the Flemington event. The Trenton Tea Party is more likely to draw the ACORN goons than will Flemington. I know I will get in trouble if I’m confronted by The Marist Onada’s goons so it is best for me to avoid them.

Have a great time at the Tea Party! I am still trying to
make up my mind. I need to look at the link again because
I have forgotten what time it starts!

CNN thinks they’re “unimportant”. They are dead wrong!...as usual!
