They did it right. They captured one for “intelligence purposes”...and as for the rest...get to swimmin’, boys, 400 miles is a long way to land.
I suppose the best of all possible outcomes would be if their “mothership” came back to pick the three swimmers up in time for the US Navy to show up and say hi in their own special way...
