To: Principled

Your state is laying the groundwork to push back and try to stop some of the horrible legislation coming out of Washington. They are laying a foundation to fight this. It will probably mean a fight.

Look at the vote totals in each state! I don’t remember any of them even being close. Democrats are voting for this in state legislatures. They probably fear the wrath of the voters.

Even though it will probably mean a fight, it is giving us leaders in the states to fight unconstitutional laws. We’re better off with this than without it.

The federal government is doing all kinds of things which violate the 10th Amendment, and violate the Constitution in many other respects. Welfare, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and the Department of Education are a few examples.

The tenth amendment might be forgotten, but it ain't dead. And these states and others are looking to make it relevant in this 21st century.

This is a good thing.
