If that's the case, didn't ABC break federal law with the following?
We gave Samaha $5,000 and one hour to see how many guns he could buy, and how many questions he would be asked.
The form you fill out when buying a gun (4473) specifically asks if you are the actual buyer. Question 12a reads as follows:
Are you the actual buyer of the firearm(s) listed on this form? Warning: You are not the actual buyer if you are acquiring the firearm(s) on behalf of another person. If you are not the actual buyer, the dealer cannot transfer the firearm(s) to you.
If he filled out a 4473 for any of these purchases, was ABC involved in a "straw purchase?"
Yes, but only if he bought from an FFL. If it was a private sale, then I imagine no paper was exchanged (like private sales here in Florida).
Like I said, "loophole" is LeftSpeak for "freedom". God forbid that a firearm could be traded or sold like any other tool, such as a shovel. After all, guns radiate that evil, mystic force that turns peaceful people into murderous banshees, dont'cha know.
And albeit I think they had him buy off Mom and Pop tables if he did buy 3 or more from a FFL dealer’s same day that made him fill out a 4473 he is due a visit or review from batfags per their BS laws as well....
