Why are politicians allowed to speak at our protests on April 15? They are the problem and now they want to steal some of the limelight.

The Tax Day Tea Party I am involved with has asked ALL politicians to stay away. We are just trying to get people excited about the Founding Fathers and the principles on which this country was founded. The problem with including any politicians...well...it gets political. You and I probably don't agree on who the best GOP leader is. In 2008 I supported Romney on FR on got all kinds of names thrown at me. My conservative credentials were questioned, etc. Right now I just want to start at ground zero: The Bail-Out was immoral. The current Budget is Immoral. I want to go back to the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. You would not believe how full of crap things get when ever the wanna-bees around the politicians get involved. There are some absolutely HORRIBLE people who hang around politicians. Parasites.

I could not agree with you more. Romney was not my cup of tea (pun intended), but hey, you are entitled to your opinion. That’s what made America great.

Today, politicians and their toadies are only interested in two things: 1)reelection and 2)image. Principles and ethics are about 98-99 on the list.
