Mariana de la Torre crossed into the U.S. from Mexico in the trunk of a car soon after her boyfriend beat her and threatened to kill her. Several months arriving in the U.S., she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She used an ID purchased on the black market to get roughly $530,000 worth of hospital care, some of which was paid for by Medicaid.
The Chicago Tribune told her story in a recent front-page article last month, and ran her obit this morning. She died back in Mexico at age 28.
Her story illustrated how medical identity theft works: de la Torre took the name and Social Security number of a person who is serving a three-year prison term in Texas for robbery, the Trib said. She then used that information to get care at Trinity Medical Center, University of Chicago Medical Center and St. Francis Medical Center, all in Illinois.

Once Obamacare is passed, I expect some federal “judge” to decide that it is “unconstitutional” to deny healthcare to ANYONE who shows up at a hospital in the U.S. The American taxpayers are going to find out pretty quick what the Communist DemocRATS mean by “universal healthcare”.
Here in AZ, if you need to apply for the state medical plan, you must show them your bank statements, birth certificates, utility bills, car titles, deed on the house..............you also have to show those things when applying for food stamps as well.
Of course not!!

It is hardworking taxpaying citizens who pay dearly for those medical freebies given away to lawbreaking people by a government with no compassion for us when we have no medical insurance and pay by losing our homes and everything for which we've worked hard all our lives.
All burden is on American taxpayers and American hospitals, while businesses that hire illegals remain in business, denying Americans jobs while profiting companies that fill political coffers and appeasing activist groups supporting illegals who also fill political coffers. It all boils down to corruption at our expense.

obama is willing to forgive forgeries, fraud, id theft, fake id’s, etc and give illegals a “get out of jail free” pass where your average American citizen is subject to the FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW, HENCE THE VIOLATION OF THE 14TH AMENDMENT.
one group will be void of punishment while others are in jail and have been punished. (citizen criminal)
if i were a perp, prosecuted, for giving false names, id’s in order to avoid payments, taxes, etc. i sure as heck would file a class action lawsuit against the federal govt. for violation of the 14th.
IMHO, this is a glaring rebuke to the “shamnesty” proposals.

these businesses also benefit by not having to give benefits, allowing the taxpayer to be burdened and they lower the wages while maximizing the profits.
What really irritates me about illegal immigration is the way the lowest of the low game the system yet this country lets it happen.
The cost in dollars, crime, damage, lost jobs, everything is incalculable. Time to deport them now and for good.
But Obama wants to keep them.
That just proves that the political fix is in, otherwise the illegals wouldn't get anywhere. Fundamentally they aren't a hard problem to solve. But when the system is sabotaged on their behalf, all bets are off. It's like a compromised immune system - the problem isn't the weak virus, it's whatever is damaging the system's ability to defend itself.
Well it is not Unconstitutional but it is already illegal to deny ANYONE who shows up at a hospital healthcare. Has been since Clinton.
