Mr. Sullivan,

Please take a look at the riots of last week's G-20. That is a tantrum.

On April 15th, there will a thousands of adults, protesting their governments involvement in the private sector business, you see we already have laws to deal with failed or failing businesses.

We had Bush spending and while we voiced our concerns about it, we didn't have 0bama’s massive trillion dollar debts being pushed through in the cover of darkness and against the will of the People. The taxes are coming Mr. Sullivan. Are you not listening to your representatives in Congress working out ways to tax things, fee things, and make it more difficult for business to operate. Have you missed the confiscation conversations of Oct. 2008? You see Mr. Sullivan we adults are trying to stop what is happening, before it happens. We are demanding temperance from our government. We are demanding that we not send debt to our grandchildren. Blessed is the man who leaves not an inheritance to his son, but to his grandson. We are protesting that debt is not our children's inheritance. Debt is our responsibility and we a demanding it be dealt with as our responsibility.

Interesting. If I may say so, very gay. When there's not a real argument, he'll use a tu quoque os some other ad hominem.

It's ludicrous to think that we who are the most upset think we ran the country when Dubya was president. It's all the more ludicrous when one looks at most leftist protests and realizes that what they come down to is being upset that reality prevailed over their fantasies.

(1) Tell us what would be so bad about letting SOME major banks fail? Tell us what would be so bad about letting SOME major auto manufacturers fail? One thing, fer shur, is that if the way Congress contributed to the failures came out it might be bad for the socialists.

(2) The vapidity of this point becomes clear when the word "extremism" appears. Sullivan doesn't have somehting to say so he resorts to name-calling.

(3)First, no the citizen's of Boston were not illegal immigrants. Second the tea parties have nothing to do with illegal immigration, while Sullivan's raising of the point suggests that he gets paid by the word, and didn't have anything relevant to say.

(4)So the way too large debt shouldered during the Bush year's means we should shut up while the current crop of live-for-today politicians take on a debt which will crush our children and grand children? No point here, so Sullivan, filling space, takes a deserved swipe at RINOs.

So having raised a bunch of spectres which he can vlow away with arch and snide remarks, Sullivan then makes a generalization about people who partake in tea parties which hve not yet happened and walks away telling himself and those who mistake glibness for wit that he and they are just SEW much better than we.

Man, I need to get a ob like his. No work. Just write like a high school senior girl and collect your check.

Liberals are angry that the tea parties have gained traction and reflect poorly on Lord Zero. Worse yet is the fact that a lot of protesters will be legitimate democrats who are legitimately angry at the expansion of government.

ACORN trouble may actually work to our advantage with these middle of the road democrats.

Sullivan is ignorant of the history of this country. It was just such “adolescent tantrums” by groups like the Son’s of Liberty who took their disgust with King George’s heavy handed taxation to extremes and started the revolution that founded this republic. Note at the time these groups through out the colonies were having these adolescent tantrums people like Benjamin Franklin were trying to negotiate a settlement of our differences in Parliament and with the King all without success.

I spent the better part of an hour earlier today scanning the various sites and blogs to try and understand what specifically the Fox-Pajamas tea parties are about. Having absorbed about as much of the literature as I can, I have to say I’m still befuddled.

Your ignorance is your problem. The Tea Parties are exactly what they are. Americans disgusted at having elected officials act and behave not like Americans. Americans disgusted that we have leaders who turn their backs on the Constitution and the founding principles of our Nation. Americans who today are saying that they are fast approaching the same point of no return that those who were Americans so long ago in Boston had reached when they had their Tea Party.
But maybe you are not that ignorant. Maybe you just are to afraid to see the truth. Maybe because you are part of the problem.

Good!! That will make it easier to purge socialists from office if they are confused people want to enforce the Constitution.

It's a protest against tax hikes. But there have barely been any!

If it were not so indicative of the level of stupidity held by far too many Americans, this would be funny.

Of course, the Eeeeevil power companies and "big" oil will get blamed for the rate and price hikes which come as a result of 'cap and trade' and carbon taxes levied to solve a problem we do not have.

And then there is the deficit run wild, part of it off the books.

You ain't seen nothing yet.

Poor Mr. Sullivan. It must be excruciating to go through life with a perfectly defective mind.

This from a man who all but did Regan-MacNeil-like head spins over whether Trig Palin was really Sarah’s son.

You know, Andrew, for a (supposedly distinguished) product of Oxford and Harvard, there seem to be a lot of things you’re befuddled by. Now go have another constitutional-law argument with Hugh Hewitt (who teaches it). If the last one was anything to go by, it’s fun when you lose. Not that you ever actually admit losing, of course.

Randy Andy blew a gasket a few years back and there seems to be no hope of recovery. His phony flirtation with conservatism ended and continually proves what a leftist nut case he is, and always has been.

Taxed Enough Already = TEA

What’s hard to understand about that? I know - you didn’t read the name.

Here’s the name again: Taxed Enough Already = TEA

I’m going to a party to see what exactly is being protested. I think tantrum is off the mark as a descriptive and prefer pop off valve.

My fear is that once the pressure is released by the tea party pop off valves, the satisfaction gained will be adequate to end the desire for sustained in the streets opposition. I fear a Been There, Done That mentality just 90 days into a four year term.

Is this a serious attempt to write an article? It doesn’t strike me as such. It simply denigrates the movement because the movement lacks a single theme.
