It is amazing how people let their kids roam around.
We had a case here in Bakersfield where a kid was struck and killed by car.
The driver was all but drawn and quartered in the local paper. However, there were no questions asked of the parents, by anyone, wondering why their 10 year old kid was out in the middle of the street, on his skateboard, at 9:30 pm, on a school night.
