Former SEAL: Taking-out pirates holding American captain "not an operational problem"
Fox News Live

Fox just interviewed off screen a former SEAL regarding why the Somali pirates are being allowed to take the kidnapped US merchant captain to Somalia. In his words, 'this is not an operational issue.' In other words, Obama is ordering that no action be taken until he can get permission from the 'international community.' The SEAL noted that they have been training for just this situation since 1981.
Meanwhile, the French rescue their people.

So when do we start in with the yellow ribbins like back in Carter’s day?
To: pabianice
Could you detect a tone of scorn...outrage...dismay in the former SEAL's voice??
I think this just confirms what we've been thinking around here...

"So when do we start in with the yellow ribbins like back in Carters day?" I guess you haven't seen the reports from the Captain's hometown in Vermont...

“Obama is ordering that no action be taken until he can get permission from the ‘international community.”
So we are not under the command of some dictators from the so called international dumb asses before we can protect our citizens.

I remember the Carter years, and this makes me sick. This situation should never have gone past day one that we had any of our military close.

I would think that a SEAL mini-sub with a dozen operators on board could lurk beneath the boat until the opportune moment. They must be getting very tired by now, and I suspect they're not disciplined enough to take turns standing watch without dozing off.
I hope we take no prisoners, and start sinking pirate boats all over the area, but I guess it's a bit much to expect from their blood brother in the White House.

This is why the POTUS needs to born in the USA. 0bama has no idea whose side he’s on. He’s a citizen of the earth as the liberals like to say. We are under occupation.

SpecOps live in a world of constant frustration. They often get spun up and then told to stand down. I am sure there a hundred ex-SpecOps guys who have already planned the mission and are ready to go. Now here is a thought. Blackwater International has substantial assets in the region. Will they do what Obama will not let the Navy do? Doubt it.

Interesting parallels between actions when Republicans are in the “whitey house” and when DemonRATs call the shots. I seem to recall Klintoon had no qualms about bustin caps into religious “compounds” or “suspected Right Wing Separatists”. Oh wait, they weren't mooslimbs were they?
To: LibLieSlayer
I am suprised not one of you get what is going on. On Wednesday America will be holding an historic event in these Tea Parties. It will make a huge difference in the 2010 elections and beyond.
So what do you think the White House will do? They are waiting for the timing to be right to go after the hostages and marginalize the Tea Parties.
